BorobudurBack to the 9th century, Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world and is found in Java, Indonesia. Made up of 2,000+ relief panels and over 500 Buddha statues, this temple is an amazing monument to see. Often crowded in the day, one of the best times to explore the temple is early in the morning when you can watch the sunrise while standing at the very top.

Mount BromoIndonesia is located in what is called “the Pacific rim of fire” which is one of the most active volcanic areas in the world. It also boasts some of the most gorgeous sunsets in the world with one of the best being seen from Mount Penanjakan overlooking the famous Mt Bromo Volcano. You must climb up steep streets and steps covered in tourists really early in the morning in pitch-black darkness, but definitely worth the effort and the climb.

Belitung IslandBelitung is among the most beautiful islands in Southeast Asia. Pristine white sand beaches look out on a turquoise sea filled with great snorkelling and a fantastic display of off shore islands. Monas
"Mo" is monument, "Nas" means nasional which translates to Monument national of Indonesia. Jakarta's most famous monument is one of Sukarno's great legacies and an iconic part of the Jakarta skyline, symbol of the country's strength and independence.
It is located in front of the Presidential palace and opens to the public. An elevator carries visitors to the top, offering a bird’s eye view across the city to the sea. |
Candi Prambanan
Candi Rara Jonggrang (Prambanan), is a well known ancient Hindu Temple in Indonesia. It is built during the 9th century for Trimurti as an expression that God is the Creator (Brahma), Preserver (Vishnu) and also the Destroyer (Shiva).
The temple compound lies just 18km east of Yogyakarta and can be easily reached with the Transjogja public bus, which is by far the cheapest and best option to visit Prambanan. It is one of the Indonesia UNESCO World Heritage Site, being one of the largest Hindu temple architecture in Southeast Asia. |
